Dilligaf stands for "do I look like I give a fuck". sitting comfortably? now here’s the story. the cult began in the 1960īs with the fucked-up, fucked-off troops in Vietnam. the word, dilligaf, summed up exactly how the soldiers felt when being bossed by their commanding officers. when the war ended, they drifted into an anti-authority lifestyle, moving from town to town with the kind of rootless, urban feeling that hits us all right now.

What does dilligaf mean to me?.

I think dilligaf is a state of mind, an attitude, a way of life or a cry for freedom.

It says leave me alone to live my life, as I want to live it, unencumbered by society’s petty rules and people.

It says give me back my freedom of choice, stop telling me what is good for me, what I can or cannot do and how or how not to do it.

It says give me back my freedom of speech to say what I want to say, when I want to say it without the fear of being called a racist or upsetting some obscure minority group, or get accused of not being politically correct.

It says I am an individual; I am quite capable of making my own decisions regarding my life and this I will do.
